Cookies Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Web Lucas (“the Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on weblucas.info (the “Website” or “Service”).

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and use personal data more generally.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on Your device when You visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, keep You signed in, and remember choices You make. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which can store a setting on Your device without sending it on every request.

How we use cookies

We use cookies and similar storage that are needed to run the Website: signing in, keeping a session secure, and protecting forms from spam. We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies on the Service, and we do not use cookies to build an advertising profile of You.

Cookies and storage we use

Necessary cookies (WordPress / account)

These cookies are set by our Website when they are needed for a feature You use. They are first-party cookies on weblucas.info.

  • wordpress_test_cookie — checks whether Your browser accepts cookies. Session cookie; used when You try to sign in.
  • wordpress_logged_in_* — keeps You signed in to Your WebLucas account so You can use the dashboard, tickets, and other account features. Set when You log in.
  • wordpress_sec_* — helps protect authenticated sessions in the WordPress admin and account area.
  • wp-settings-* / wp-settings-time-* — stores a few WordPress interface preferences if You use the WordPress admin. These are not used for advertising.

If You leave a comment on the blog (where comments are enabled), WordPress may also store cookies with Your name, email, and website so You do not have to fill them in again. Those last up to about one year and are optional — You can decline them in Your browser.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

Contact, registration, login, and password-reset forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that the request is from a real visitor. Cloudflare may process a short-lived token and limited technical data (such as IP address). Cloudflare may also set cookies on their own domain as part of that check. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s cookie policy.

Theme preference (not a cookie)

If You switch between light and dark theme, that choice is stored in Your browser’s local storage under the key wl-theme. It stays on Your device so the next visit can use the same theme. It is not sent to Us as a tracking profile, and it is not required for the site to work — without it we follow Your system preference.

Cookies we do not set

We do not currently place first-party advertising, social-media pixel, or analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics) on the Website. If that changes, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent.

Third-party sites

Links on the Website (CodeCanyon, GitHub, social networks, documentation hosts, and similar) go to sites we do not operate. Those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies. We are not responsible for cookies set after You leave weblucas.info. Purchases on CodeCanyon are handled by Envato; their cookie and privacy terms apply to that checkout.

How long cookies last

Session cookies are usually deleted when You close Your browser. Logged-in cookies last for the WordPress login session (or until You sign out). Comment cookies, if used, can last up to about one year. Theme preference in local storage lasts until You clear site data or change the theme again.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in Your browser settings. You can also clear local storage for this site. If You block necessary cookies, signing in and using the account area may not work. Blocking third-party cookies may affect widgets such as Turnstile on forms.

Most browsers explain how to manage cookies in their help pages (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and others). On a shared device, sign out of Your account when You finish.

Legal basis

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we use strictly necessary cookies because they are needed to provide a service You request (for example logging in or submitting a form). Theme preference is stored only if You use the theme switch. We do not rely on consent for advertising cookies because we do not currently use them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookies Policy when our cookies or tools change. The new version will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will change. You should review this page periodically. Changes take effect when they are posted.
